How does a culture of nomadism contribute to broader society?

- Daryl: It breaks down barriers that communities establish and the sense of Western individualism for a culture of sharism.

- James: Nomad movement could be considered part of socialism.

- Matt: Nomadism can spread through word of mouth; person to person; electronic capabilities.

This wiki page is a place to name qualities and elaborate on how we can recognize and them in each other and build them up within ourselves.

Qualities make up a person, we define ourselves by many different qualities. You can define your own qualities, others can affirm your qualities, making them appear bigger. Qualities are inherently good, we think.

People can define themselves and others as hugger, hitchhiker, guest, driver, host, carpenter, perma-culturist, coder, ubuntu expert, cook, massage therapist, dumpster diver, creative, vegan, freegan, vegetarian, conscious eater, conscious consumer, plumber, musician, guitar player, enlightened, fascinating and much more.

Skill is for the human, quality is for the being. That's what's makes us human beings, we have qualities and skills.

Qualities can be added and refined and put in a tree structure as we grow. Spaces have qualities that can be defined by visitors. Qualities of nomads can link to qualities of spaces, e.g. a space can be vegan as well, or welcoming (relating to the "host" quality of nomads), or hugging (hugger).

There can be complementary qualities, such as driver and hitchhiker or host and guest.

We also want to enable the possibility to give qualities to people who are not yet part of our network. Once an email address has been alotted 4 qualities the person will be invited to join our network.

A quality has a corresponding wiki page and a list of people with this quality.
Question: how do you avoid the contest idea when there's a list of people? A little randomize? Biggest "reputation" below?

Human-/Being Qualities

• Hugger - One who hugs to say hello and goodbye
• Driver - One who drives a car.
